Ext USB Hard Drive

I have Belkin F5U209, Rev1 Ext USB 2.0 Hard Drive kit. I can use it fine with
Win98 connecting to laptop. But when connecting to desktop, WinXP does not
recognize the device (Unknown Device, "drivers not installed"). I have tried
installing old drivers from Belkin web site, but no improvement.
