Exporting Outlook 2000 contacts to outlook express

How can I get my Outlook contacts into my outlook express
database. You'd think this would be really easy, but
apparently it isn't.

No, it's not easy. The two programs are unrelated. You'll have to export
your Contacts Folder to a format OE can recognize, like CSV.
