Exporting Certificates

I have a user certificate in the personal folder on my
certificate snap in.

When I try to export the certificate, the wizard asks for
the file to export. I have no idea where the file
representing my certificate is at. Searches do not help.

Where can I find my certificate files so I can export them?

I want to use the certificate for digitally signing emails
with Outlook 2000.

The personal folder in the certificate snap-in maps to:

%profilepath%\application data\microsoft\systemcertificates\my

You should be able to view the certificate in the snaip-in and use the
thumbprint value to correspond with the file.
