Exporting calendar in outlook

I have just downloaded the "Rainlender calendar" and would like to import my
Outlook calendar into it. However it only uses .ics files and I cannot find a
way to export from Outlook 2007 in this format. Can anyone help?

The only way I have found to do this is to synch your Outlook calendar with
Google Calendar, and then you can export the Google Calendar as an ics
file...

So easy when you know how!! Thank you.

Go into the Calendar folder, go to the File menu > Save As command. There
you can save a range of dates as an ICS.

I have no idea how to sync my outlook calendar with google mail. I cannot see
any info on this either on google. Will you satisfy my curiosity please as I
would like to do this as well.
