Exporting Calendars from Outlook 2007

I wish to export calendars from Outlook 2007 in .ICS format. However,
although the file type is said to be supported it is not in the types
available in the dropdown list. How do I get it added please?

is icalendar one of the options?

you can right click on the calendar folder for options to -I don't have 2007
handy to verify the options, but send by email will create an ics attachment
which you can save.
