Export Specification Tables

I am exporting an access table using the Export
Specification tables. I have added a field to the table
but the Specs table is not letting me add the field. It
keeps telling me that I have too many fields. Does anyone
know of a work around for this without having to recreate
the specs and call it something else.

If you haven't already gotten an answer for this, try
compacting the database to see if that helps.
