Export Specification?

If I have an existing export specification for a table and then I add an
additional column to the table (at the end) and I do not want this new column
included in the export, do I need to rebuild the export specification?
I ask because my export recently ceased to work and the only thing I can
think of that has changed is I added a new column to the table.

You don't need to rebuild it, just revise it.

Start an import, select a text file, click Advanced button in wizard window,
select the desired specification, edit the settings, and save the
specification (use same name for the specification that it had originally).
