G Geoff Nov 12, 2006 #2 John: This isn't the answer you want! AFAIK the best way to preserve report formatting would be to export in Snapshot format and for users to use the Snapshot viewer program. The following suggestions don't achieve your objective for preserved formatting but this is what I do: If I need to use the data in Word (eg for a mail merge), I export to RTF format. If I need data in Excel, then a number of export formats work OK. Regards Geoff
