Outlook 2007

I have all my Outlook notes assigned to a category.

If I export everything to another PST file, the categories are missing
off the notes in the new PST file.

Anyone got any ideas.

Yes - don't export, copy or drag and drop....the export function is
primarily for converting Outlook data to another format, not for
transferring data from pst to pst...

In this case I am going from my old format PST to a need 2003 format so
that it can store Unicode, etc.

I could drag and drop but I have a lot of items. I would assume that M/S
routines worked for such basic functionality. Seems I was wrong.

then you don't need to do anything like export. You have installed Office
2003 presumably? When you open Outlook, has it created a new, empty pst
file, or is all your old data still there? (IE Outlook 2003 just used your
old file automatically?)

I have a Outlook 2000/2002 format PST file. I require an Outlook 2003
format file so that it can store more types of data.

Been running this way for years, but it is becoming limited.
