exploror siezing, not responding, errors opening pages

problem persists. 6.0 is my latest version. Active x
controls may be to blame. Pages not opening properly.
Other problem is that explorer seizes for no apparent
reason and I have to open task manager to close it. How
do I fix this?

Rule out parasites.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
