explorer setting size?

when i open internet explorer, instead of filling the whole screen, it opens
slightly less, about an inch short to the right, and to the bottom of the
screen?
how do i make it open so it fills the whole of the screen.

Hi

Drag the window to the size you want it, then close the window via File>Exit

The size of the window should then be retained when you next open it.

The key to these settings is that you open *one* copy of Internet Explorer,
or Explorer, make the changes you want, then close it. On re-opening, it
will use those characteristics.

If you have more than one copy of the window open, the changes aren't kept.
