I can't get to certin unprotected websites from my home
computers or laptop but I can access them from work. I am
a US service member stationed in Korea. I have a high-
speed connection at home. I turned off all the the
filters, but I cannot reach the site for my college
distance learning classes. Any ideas. I have two PCs and
a laptop, all running XP. I was able to reach these sites
prior to my arrival in Korea from the same computers.

Is your ISP in your home/billet the same as on base? It is
possible that the ISP has blocked some domains. It is also
possible that the college server is blocked from some
domains (such as Korean) for some security reason.
You might ask the IT guys on base about connections back to
the States.
