Hi,
I am having an annoying and aggravating issue with IE.
Everytime I open IE a full screen popup is displayed with
several search type boxes. The only way to exit the
popup is to ctrl-alt-dlt and end task on IE. I can't
seem to pinpoint why or how it keeps reinitiating
itself. I wun WindowsXP and have the firewall on as well
as auto-messages turned off. I run SpySweeper daily and
Panda virus scan a couple times a week.
None of those have seemed to help eliminate or delay the
popup. However, the popup does disappear if I clean my
cookies, delete files and clear history before running
IE. I regularly try to clean that info out anyway, but
to have to do it b4 every opening of IE is ridiculous.
Has anyone had a similiar issue that could maybe point me
in the right direction to permanently correct this
issue? Help is extrememly appreciated.
Thanks, Tom
