Explorer / Outlook Express

First, OE6 after reinstall takes several (10-20) seconds
to open, whereas in the earlier installation (before
crash) it snapped open very quickly.

Second, the File (pull down) menu in Explorer now
consistently initiates the Install Wizard and attempts to
install Easy CD Creator, which happens to be installed on
my Pentium III PC computer.

Weird, huh.

Any help will be appreciated.
