drag and drop invokes windows installer

When I drag and drop any file, or copy and paste a file to another
folder, Windows Installer opens in an attempt to install Roxio Easy
Media Creator 7 (which is already installed on my PC). When I click
"cancel," installer quits and the file is copied. Windows XP sp1,
Pentium III, Dell 1ghz, 80 ghz Maxtor drive. Suggestions?

Solution found: follow thread "Drag file to folder starts installer"
(couldn't find on global newsnet search originally.... tooooo many
results found ;)
