I upgraded a machine from Win2k to XP which went ok. After a couple of
restarts, the computer now restarts explorer.exe when I click on "My
Documents", "My Computer" or "Control Panel" ... most of the shortcuts on the
startbar to be honest.
I'm pretty sure its explorer.exe, as when I click on the shortcut, the
taskbar and everything on the desktop disappears for about 2 seconds then
reappears (as if explorer has closed, then started again). Pressing WinKey+E
does the same aswell.
The only way to get to "My Computer", "My Documents", "Control Panel" or any
disk drive, is to open IE then type the drive letter into the address bar.
I've searched plenty of site, but not found anything related. Also no virus
scanner or any programs of that sort have picked anything up ... yet.
