Explorer.EXE crashes when it tries to run

Hello everyone. i am looking for whatever help I can get. I am running 64bit
version of Windows Vista Beta 2. Right now what seems to be my only problem
is that explorer.exe now crashes whenever it tries to run. I have done every
trick I can think of to fix it.

Here is a list of what happens.

-Explorer.exe crashes on windows start up and gives message box.
Explorer.exe has stopped working windows is trying to correct. It does that
the box disappears and it happens again.
-Next problem. when looking through folders explorer.exe crashes again and
locks up the box you were using to look at files.
-When trying to delete files the program locks up and won't let you delete
them.

I don't know what could have caused this problem but I am hoping it gets
figured out and fixed.

Have you tried booting to the Vista dvd, selecting system recovery options,
and then repair the startup?

I will try that tonight and see if I can get it to work. If not I will edit
post to say yea or nay. Hopefully it works. Thanks for the thought fraser
