Explorer Crashing

My problem is that everytime I click File then Open and start typing in a new
web address my Explorer crashes with the alert coming onto the screen of
there is an fatal error in my USER.EXE file. Then all my open Explorer
programs will close. Once I wait a couple seconds then I can restart the
Explorer and it works fine until I try to open a new website through the File
and Open commands. The wierd thing is that the Explorer doesn't alway crash
when I use that command. I would say the percentage is about 40% - 60% of the
time. Plus my Explorer works fine with every other command I use with it.
