Andrew, we don't know a thing about the OP's computer or what sites give him
trouble. A hot fix isn't called for at this point.
Dragon Fire (cool name, btw) - you'll need to give us more information such
as some sample url's where IE crashes, which version of IE you have (is it
IE7 beta for instance?), what changed between the time things worked and
the time they didn't, how you connect to the Internet (broadband? dialup?)
and that sort of thing so we can help you.
