Explorer bug

Hello out there
can anyone tell me how on earth I can make my windows xp explorer to
remember the "status bar"? (The status bar that displays the size of my
disk or files.)
I know that i must click on the "status bar" in explorer but it will not be
there the next time i start explorer.

Is it a bug or a feature??
Is it a registry change that must be done ??

Hi

After you have enabled the Status Bar, go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders' - restart Windows Explorer.

bugs in microsoft products are considered 'features' so
you are right in both cases.

Open Windows Explorer, after enabling the status bar, go to Tools, select
Folder Options, go to the View tab, click Apply to All Folders. If the
Apply button becomes active, click and OK.
