Explorer 6 scrolling slow

I updated my win '98 with explorer 6.0 and it scrolls very
slow compared to my 5.x version. Its also very slow to
bring up a thumbnail icon. I'm wondering if my cpu is too
old for 6.0. Its about 3.5 yrs old.

What CPU do you have? You should be OK. Check if other programs running in
the background is interfering with the operations of IE. Check firewall,
ad-blocker, anti-virus, Norton Disk Doctor, and Clean Sweep.
