what I am doing on screen, particularly annoying when

what I am doing on screen, particularly annoying when
completing forms or online business???

The application, not IE, controls that, perhaps using Cookies to identify
the session. If you think that there is a chance that you may have a problem
with much retyping, before pressing Enter (or any time) try cloning the page
(e.g. press Ctrl-N) or try saving it to a WordPad window (e.g. with Ctrl-a,Ctrl-c
and paste there). This is analogous to doing an occasional strategic
Save while composing in your Word processor. <g>
