I posted a question or statement as the case may be earlier today regarding
an error I got after messing with my DVD drive on and off for a couple weeks.

After the post I continued to try and find what the problem could have been
(I say been because as of yet today it has not done anything weird - haven't
touched the DVD drive yet)

The following is the closest (VERY close) I could find to matching what one
of the errors I received said Including the C:\document.......

I am wondering if in all my searching for help I inadvertently downloaded
something (doubt it but??) or got a virus or something from this site - If I
was indeed at this site.

I can not get to the site now for more information - won't load.

Does anyone know if this is a valid site or if It is possible I got a virus
or something from just visiting it? Can you get a virus or something from
JUST visiting any site?

This is where it is searching the internet:

First of all this site is a support technical site, which I can't see they
will do themselves a favour by installing a plug-in that can harbour a virus
to your computer or download a virus directly to your computer, yes they
have cookies?.
I visit their site and look for info, all okay to me!.
You need first to know the exact problem before striking an accusation on
somebody may be innocent?.

That being said, come to your issue:
Please read all the Info here and in the Links provided then he whole
scenario will be fixable for you!.
Do you have one of these Video card: nvidia, Same for ATI video cards,

If yes, you may not have the latest Video drivers and you just downloaded
the drivers from MS updates, which not recommended to do so. So, try and get
the latest drivers from these links:

Nvidia Geforce drivers downloads:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

ATI Radeon drivers downloads:

any drivers or software, run Disk CleanUp and defrag is safe mode.
Note: some users said by deleting the DUMP folder the error simply
disappeared, so delete the folder from the TEMP:
