Experience slow Outlook startup and 2Gb virtual memory required.

Experience slow Outlook startup and 2Gb virtual memory required. Startup in
Outlook safe mode is normal, as for speed and memory being used.
Tried reinstalling office 2003 professional, uninstalled Norton Internet
security, didn't solve problem. Anyone with similar experience and/or
solution?

Hi,

try the following (it worked for me):

1. Locate the file "outcmd.dat" on your filesystem (somewhere in an
outlook-data directory).
2. Rename or delete this file.
3. Start Outlook.
