expand/collapse

I created a subform within a subform within a form. Access creates an expand
collapse control on the form. The expand/collapse option is missing on some
of my files. How can I get it back?

On the Insert menu, select Subdatasheet...

My subdatasheets are connected to the correct tables using the insert -
subdatasheet.
I have 3 tables and 3 forms to go with each table. Form 3 is a subform of
form 2 and form 2 is a subform of form 1. Most of the time the form 3
records have the expand indicator next to them, but in a few of my records
the indicator has disappeared.

correction: I have 3 tables and 3 forms to go with each table. Form 3 is a
subform of form 2 which is a subform of form 1.
Form 2 has the expand indicator which disappears on only certain records.

If I view form 1 in "datasheet view" instead of "form view" I can always see
the expand indicator, however in "form view" the indicator is usually there,
but is not in a few records.
