expand and collapse tables

I am trying to find out how to show the + sign in table datasheet view in
Access 2007 in order to expand and collapse tables so that I can see entries
in other tables that match the primary key.

Access tables store data. Access forms (and reports) display data.

Use the forms, Luke!

(that "+" "feature" seems to make Access respond more slowly...)

I already have the forms set up for my users. I want to be able to expand
and collapse my table data in datasheet view for easier/quicker viewing. It
is a very small database, so response time is not an issue.

So if you know what I need to do to show the + and - to expand and collapse
that would be helpful.
Thanks, Eddy

In the table definition screen, right-clicking on the Description title
reveals a list of properties for the table. One of those relates to
sub-datasheets. I believe "Auto" is the setting you're looking for.

You may also need to do something similar/related in your forms ... but
since I don't use the "+" in the tables, I don't know about the "+" in the
forms...

Good luck!
