exit code 1603

When trying to install XP SP1 on my computer I receive an
exit code of 1603. I can not find what this code
represents or a solution.

Hello Byron

1603 is just a generic install error(ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE). You would
need to look at the service pack install logs to see exactly where if
failed.
