HI was trying to send a executable file through my email....it was just a
zip file....but my email program reject it...as harmfull...any reason for
this

Thanks

XP automatically unzips things so yes, it is correct to label it as
potentially harmful.

What e-mail program are you using and is there no option to send without
this check?

Hi Thomas,

First scan the file to make sure it's not infected.

If the executable was in a zip file, then you may want to check setting
in the anti virus program.

You will also find that at least some ISP's will not accept executable file
transmission via E-Mail.
