exchange server

XP SP2
I have constant disconnects from my pop3 server. I have checked, and all
setting are correct. When I close outlook and re-open, I get mail from 8,10,
20 hours ago.
I did not have this porblem with outlook 2000.

are you using outlook with exchange server or with a pop3 server?

Receiving' reported error (0x80040125) : 'Changes made to the item were lost
due to a reconnect with the server.'

Using pop for outside email and exchange server for inhouse email.
this is the error I keep getting. -------> Receiving' reported error
