With Outlook 2003 SP2 on Windows XP SP2 in my home office, I have
access to our corporate exchange server via RPC over https.
Unfortunately, my exchange password does not keep saved, but is
requested again and again after each program start of Outlook.

What I tried, but in vain:
- Manually saving the password in User accounts - Network passwords.
- Varying Logon Security from "negotiate" through "kerberos" to
"NTLM".
- Setting lmcompatibilitylevel= 2 or 3 in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet
\Control\Lsa.

Any advice?

As far as I know, there is no way to save the password when exchange proxy
authentication is set to basic authentication.
