Exchange and POP mail, each in seperate pst files??

Outlook 2002 with Exchange server plus my yahoo POP mail.

I have to use Exchange at work and also have my personal pop mail account. I
am wondering if there is a way to have my private mail be delivered to it's
own .pst file? With it's own sent folder and all. It looks like I HAVE to
create 2 profiles for this to work but rather not.

Here is what I had and did not work:
In my existing Exchange profile I added Yahoo POP mail and created a rule to
deliver all mail delivered through Yahoo to a folder named Yahoo.
Here is my problem:
1.) The rule did not run at launch of Outlook. That means every time I
launched OL it did a send and receive and pulled my new Yahoo mail and they
sat in the inbox (rule did not run). After that when OL was running adn new
email arrived rule was working fine.

If I can fix this I can do the rest via Rules (moving sent folder items for
POP account).

Thanks

You'd really need to. You can't have two delivery locations. And if you
don't want your personal email becoming company property, I suggest you read
your Yahoo mail via their web interface.

Which version of outlook and do you have the latest SP? There is a problem
with some builds where outlook begins to pull mail before the rules engine
is ready to run.

Thanks

If it still does it in SP3, then no.

I think it works correctly in Ol2003 although I don't have a lot of rules
that would be affected by it.
