Exchange Active Sync and "Pass Through" mode

Hello,

I am looking for expertise and guidance on an issue that I am haveing with
my Palm Treo 650. I am using Versa Mail which in turn uses Exchange Active
Sync to guide the wireless downloads and syncronization of mail and
calendars.

I have read that there is a way for me to also sync. my mail and calendars
via a desktop connection with a "Pass Through" setting. I am not sure what
this is or how to activate it on my mobile. I would appreciate any guidance
to that end.

The reason I am looking for this is that I may spend 1 day at my desk and
get 100 or 200 emails or even more. The next day however, I am on the road
and am forced to download all those emails to my wireless just to see what
recent email I have for that day. This seems to be the case regardless of
whether I have read the emails on my desktop.

My hope would be to sync these messages via my desktop so that I do not
incure the cost of downloading them wirelessly.

I hope my situation makes some sense. I apprecaite any help that can be
given. If I have posted in the wrong forum I apologize. Please let me know
where I might better find the answers to my questions.

Thank- you in advance

ActiveSync's default is to sync your Inbox with Outlook. If yo9u've
disabled that option in ActiveSync, you can reenable it.

ActiveSync questions really belong in
