Exchange 2003 on Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server?

I need to know if there are issues with running Exchange 2003 server on
Windows 2000.

Also, in a single master domain, is there any compelling reason to upgrade
the DC to Windows 2003 from Windows 2000? The main reason for any upgrade in
this environment is to increase performance -- for Exchange, in particular.

Windows 2000 must have SP3 or higher. The following microsoft article
includes additional information on this subject and your other question.
