Exchange 2000 and Messanger

Hi there,
I have succesfully connect 3 XP clients to Exchange 2000 with Messenger 5.0 . However I have problems connecting other users to the exchange server. Comes back with wrong password or username dosen't exist. I am looking for a common link
I've tried the followin
-Lan firewalls are of
-Service pack 1 for Windows X
-Uninstalled 4.7/4.6 before installing 5.
-We run ISA SERVER and client but disabling has no effect.
- Can't get any 98 or Mac clients to respond to the exchange serve

Appreciate any assitance
 
try installing dsclient on the 98 machines. It is located on the windows 2000 server cd, if I remember right.
