Exchange Server 2000 and Outlook 2003 on Windows 2003 Server.

Hi,

I have an XP network with Outlook 2000 talking to a MS Exchange 2000
Server.
This works fine, now I've added a 20003 Server which has Outlook 2003.
Trying to connect to the same Exchange Server fails.

The problem seems to be RPC related, the XP clients can rpcping the
Exchange Server (rpcping from the Resource Kit) but the 2003 Server can
not.
When starting the Outlook 2003 client on the 2003 Server the client
never tries
to access the network. It just quits with "can't connect to Exchange
Server..".

Is this a security policy issue with 2003 Server or are the products
not compatible?

Running Outlook on an Exchange server is not supported.
