Exception Access Volation error message

Whenever I try to sell an item in Ebay and click on a
particular buttom to begin the selling process Ebay &
internet closes abruptly sending me to the desktop wher a
new icon with the error message appears. The message
follows:

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code

Ebay contacted but they couldn't solve the problem. I can
bid and buy but denied the access to the selling part. I
use XP and RoadRunner browser - Cache & Cookies were
cleaned. Pls. help

Do the normal Windows troubleshooting first: 1) scan with current
antivirus ("current" means a version not earlier than 2002 but using
updated virus definitions); 2) remove spyware with Spybot Search &
Destroy (www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com). Be
sure to update these programs before running, and it is a good idea to
do virus/spyware scans in Safe Mode; 3) delete temporary and Temporary
Internet Files. If the problem persists once the computer is cleaned
up, uninstall Java and reinstall from here:

http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp/
