Hi
I might be a bit thick but here's the problem.
I have windows xp.
I have recieved an email writen in windows excel.
How can I open it so it can be worked on.

E-mails aren't written in Excel. Presumably your E-mail message
includes an attachment in Excel format.

Assuming that you have a copy of Excel installed on your
computer, just open the attachment. Specifically how to do that
depends on what E-mail software you're using, but normally just
double-clicking on the attachment does it.
 
I have had the situation that, when I double click an
emailed Excel attachment, my Excel shuts down. I resolved
the problem by saving the attachment first, then opening
it from my hard drive. Then it opened.
