Excel Problem

I have got a very weired problem for Excel worksheet. When I type a number
such as 8, the worksheet automaticlly shows as 0.08. It seems the worksheet
does calculation of typed number /100. I have tried to "format cell", and
doesn't work. Does someone have clue how I configure the Excel worksheet to
normal?

The figure could come from an old excel sheet. Create a new Excel sheet.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. However, it doesn't work. For instance, I
open an old worksheet, and delete the old data, and type new number 8, it
still shows 0.08!!!

Try posting to microsoft.public.excel. It is a good newsgroup with a lot of
very experienced people that reply to posts there.
