Excel keeps opening all files

When I run Excel program it keeps on opening all my files in my data
directory. Does anyone have any suggestions. It is XP Office.

This maybe the cause of your problem


In Tools Menu > Option

there is a field labeled Alternate startup file location

Excel opens all files in the directory listed in this field
