Excel cause an invalid page fault in module mso9.dll at 017f:308cfad5

Hello...

Got this computer under windows 98 using Office 2000
Standard, that doesn't want to start excel... When I try
to launch it, the excel splash window comes up to screen
and then a dialog window that says: This program has
performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If
I click on details then says Excel cause an invalid page
fault in module MSO9.dll at 017f:308cfad5.

Can somebody help me with this I've already uninstalled it
and re-install it again, but the problem persist...
