Excel excel 2003

every time I open Excel for the first time on any given day, I get the Window Installer window telling me it has to install excel. this does not happen on Word. what do I need to do to get Excel permanently installed and avoid the Installer?

install office over again.

You could use the repair function (or re-install as suggested above) and hopefully that will fix the problem.

thanks, but I have tried both. each time I get the 1402 Error message stating that Setup cannot open the registry key, that I dont have sufficient permissions to access the registry, yet I am the administrator
