Excel 2003 100% CPU Usage

Hi,
I am trying to use the IE 6 / Office Feature "Open with
Microsoft Excel".

Most regular web pages work fine using this feature. But
the particular page I am trying to open with MS excel
contains 11 pages of data and approx. 64 columns.

Anyways, I goto this webpage, choose "Open with MS Excel".
MS Excel starts, and then "New Web Query" begins to load
the web document into the New Web Query program. It then
hangs and my CPU goes to 100%. After 3-4 minutes, CPU
load drops to normal, and I am allowed to click on
the 'import' button and import the page into excel.

I have tried this exact same thing with excel 2000 and it
works great. Any help greatly appreciated.

I am left wondering if there is a problem here. In the normal course,
100% CPU should be used from time to time. Since there is no failure,
there is no cause for concern? No harm, no foul? Ain't broke, don't
fix it?
