Excel 2002 Editing/Modifying a link

This is one of many links that were created when opening an excel file from
Lotus Notes.

'H:\DOCUME~1\sconklin\LOCALS~1\Temp\notesFFF692\[~5020587.xls]Aug 2
Pivot'!Z1432

The "linked" file no longer exists. (I don't "update", so the data remains
the same)

I want to keep the cell references (in this case, Aug 2 Pivot'!Z1432), but I
want to delete the rest
(H:\DOCUME~1\sconklin\LOCALS~1\Temp\notesFFF692\[~5020587.xls])

To make the changes all at once I tried doing "Find and Replace" on
H:\DOCUME~1\sconklin\LOCALS~1\Temp\notesFFF692\[~5020587.xls], hoping to
replace with "" {blank}, but it doesn't seem to be able to "find" this
string...I'm guessing because of the tildes?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I think you're going to have to make a decision.

If you want to keep the value, then you'll have to convert to values--and lose
the formula completely.

If you want to keep the formula (modified):
='Aug 2 Pivot'!Z1432

Then you'll have to have a worksheet with that name in the current workbook--and
if you point the formula at Z1432 in that worksheet, then the value returned may
not be the same.

Maybe you could drop the Edit|replace and use Edit|Links|change source to do the
second option.
