How do I get a live link to Outlook? I needed to do some search/replace
cleanup on a user's Contact List this week, and I thought I'd be clever &
just open the user's Outlook DB via a linked table in Access, use the
search/replace to replace some bogus characters (";" was appended to the end
of many of the e-mail address when I migrated the user's contact list from
IncrediMail (choke!) to Outlook).
When I link to the Contact list, everything looks good but it quickly became
evident that I was dealing with a snapshopt of the DB in the Local
Settings\Temp folder (DATABASE=C:\DOCUME~1\MyName\LOCALS~1\Temp\ in the
Connect string).
How do I get a live link so that I can actually update live Outlook data?
