EWF help - for Temporary partition creation.

Dear All,

I followed the below settings.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EWF\Parameters]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EWF\Parameters\Protected]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EWF\Parameters\Protected\Volume0]
"VolumeID"="{1EA414D1-6760-4625-8CBE-4F9F85A48E15}"
"ArcName"="multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)"
"Enabled"=dword:00000000
"Type"=dword:00000001

The additional temporary partition is not getting created.


But the EWF is enabled by default at the start. I have to start it
using EWF c: -Enable

I want to have EWF enabled by default. For this, what should be done.

Not sure what is the question. What do you want to do.

"Enabled"=dword:00000001

Although this sound strange according to your, questions?
