everything is sideways

Help! Despite restarting and turning the computer off, everything on the
screen is suddenly sideways and the mouse travels in the opposing direction.
Any ideas? Thanks

A user probably triggered some sort of rotate view option by mistake.
Right click on the desktop, click "properties" then "settings" tab and
"advanced" button. Past that point I can't be specific, as display and
video card option dialogs vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
