Hi,
Right click on an Empty Area on your desktop and select properties then
click on Settings Tab, there click on Advanced Button and see if there is an
option to change the Degree of the display back to Normal.
Another Short cut easy way is Pressing ALT+ CTRL + ( Arrow Up, Down, Left,
Right) to change it.
HTH.

look for Graphics Options then rotation set to normal

The ability to rotate the screen image is a feature of your video
card, to help it work with monitors that rotate to portrait
orientation. She accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and some arrow key.
Rotate it back using those keys.

I see you have been given the standard instructions and they
will probably work. Just for completeness, on a ViewSonic
monitor, using their own software, it is CTRL-SHIFT-R.

With ViewSonic, if you don't turn the monitor, it is an
interesting (frustrating) exercise to bring the mouse arrow onto
the control icon :)

Believe me: this can be a heck of a lot easier if you hold the mouse
sideways so that it matches the orientation of the display. You will see
what I mean when you try.
Another Short cut easy way is Pressing ALT+ CTRL + ( Arrow Up, Down, Left,
Right) to change it.

This works for some but by no means all graphics cards.
