EventID 7035 / 7036

I am getting alot of eventID's in my Event Viewer that has me
confused. EventID 7035 and 7036 have literally filled my Event Viewer
with messages ranging from my VNC server stopping and starting, to my
Symantec Password checker stopping and starting.

example:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7036
Date: 7/15/2003
Time: 9:21:00 AM
User: N/A
Computer: NICKEL
Description:
The Symantec Password Validation Service service entered the stopped
state

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7035
Date: 7/15/2003
Time: 6:37:44 PM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: NICKEL
Description:
The Symantec Password Validation Service service was successfully sent
a start control

Why would this suddenly start like this and totally fill my Event
Viewer?

Any ideas? Anything would be useful at this point.
