Understanding Event Viewer

I've cut a few lines out to make this too long post a little shorter.
There are errors and warning below.
Can you give me information about any of them?
I have no idea what they mean.

My enhanced keyboard keys stop working just as the boot process completes
(judging from the disk activity)

I wonder if there is a clue herein.

I didn't know I could do that.

I did that and the following is one of the error messages:

The ScRegSetValueExW call failed for Start with the following error:

Access is denied.

The source is the "Service Control Manager"

The only thing I can guess is that it tried to set some value in the
registry but access was denied. No idea what that implies!
