Event Viewer + System Log

Here is the situation, when I open Event Viewer on a
Windows 2000 server and go to look through the log files,
nothing shows up, however when I refresh the screen then
the items seem to appear fine. Except within the System
Log, I says across the top that I have 2,120 items and yet
I still see no items listed within the viewable pane. Any
ideas on this one ????

While you have the system log highlighted, click on view
and make sure you have 'all records' chosen.
